The Scharf LongHair FUE Micromotor is a precision motor system purpose-built for long-hair follicular unit extraction. Combining smooth rotational and oscillating motion in a single device, it gives physicians the flexibility to switch between extraction styles depending on graft characteristics and surgical technique.

The oscillation mode features a fully adjustable angle range of 180°–540° and variable speed control, allowing surgeons to fine-tune the reciprocating motion for controlled, low-trauma extraction — a critical advantage when working with longer hair shafts where graft transection risk is higher. Rotation mode offers both pedal-activated and continuous operation, giving hands-free control for graft-by-graft precision or uninterrupted extraction during high-volume sessions.

Built around a responsive touchscreen interface, the system displays real-time speed, oscillation angle, elapsed time, and graft count, with a built-in counter that tracks session progress automatically in pedal mode.
